Workforce Centers are increasingly facing budget constraints and even budget cuts. At the same time they are being asked to serve more job-seekers with fewer resources. In some cases, budget cuts are resulting in Workforce Center locations being downsized or closed.
Less funding, fewer staff, fewer locations, more job-seekers.

JOBview Workforce can help!
|
JOBview Workforce “self-service” employment kiosks allow you to extend your job-search services to satellite locations such as Libraries, Community Colleges and Urban League Centers. Many job-seekers visit these public-service locations to search for jobs and JOBview kiosks provide a low-cost way for you to reach them. The staff at these locations supports having a JOBview kiosk available for their visitors because it provides a useful public service and it frees their existing desktop computers for other use. In addition to these satellite locations, JOBview kiosks can be placed in Workforce Centers to allow more job-seekers to be serviced with no staff increase.
The JOBview Workforce application directs the user to your state jobs website. Directly from the kiosk the user can register with state site and browse and apply for jobs found on that site using only their finger. JOBview does not allow the user to wander around the internet and away from your job listings. Because the JOBview application is focused on the job-search-and-apply function, each kiosk can support thousands of job searches per month. In fact, in high traffic locations a single JOBview kiosk can support over 15,000 job searches per month—completely self-service. More than 15 million job searches were conducted at JOBview kiosks over the past year.
Using an intuitive, ATM-like touch screen interface, job-seekers have access to your state jobs website. The job-seeker can register with the state website and quickly browse and apply for available jobs using their fingertip. They can also email or text a complete description of each selected job directly from the kiosk.
